Betmar Aquatic Center
Membership Information
Welcome to the Betmar Aquatic Center.
Use your electronically chipped fob to enter and exit the facility. We want to ensure safety and enjoyment for our members and their guests. Only you and your guest(s) have access to the pools and spas. Your entrance and exit will be recorded by the surveillance system so it is very important that you, and your guests understand the “Rules”. Please read this package carefully. Share it with your guests especially if they are to use your fob, and you are unable to come to the pool with you. Make sure that when you give your fob to a guest, they are aware of how to use it properly.
Should you believe that someone does not belong in the pool area, simply make a call to Security indicating the time and date of the event.
Acceptance of this package and your fob indicates that you are aware of the responsibilities of membership.
Enjoy the pools and spas. Happy swimming!

Who gets to decide what project has merit?
Member suggestions are given to the Special Projects Committee. Discussions as to reasonableness determine the appropriateness of the suggestion. Recommendations are passed to the BAC Board through the Vice-President.
What is the process?
- Member makes a formal suggestion
- Initial research determines reasonableness of suggestion
- Proposal is put in writing and Committee submits it to Vice-President for review and presentation to the BAC Board
- If adopted by the Board, and funding is available, the proposal is passed to the appropriate action committee
