NOTICE
Membership Meeting – February 17, 2025
Swim Club held its membership meeting, which included nominations for the various Board positions. During that meeting, Richard Heon, Glenn Loding, Deanna Wachsmuth, Jackie Giesler, and Wayne Nareau were identified as current board members willing to return. Diane Engler was nominated from the floor for the open Treasurer position and Kelly Reno was nominated for the open Security position.
Bob Engler was nominated for the position of President and Kim Elder was nominated for the position of Vice President. Both Richard Heon and Glenn Loding withdrew their nominations for those positions since there were others willing to step up to assume those responsibilities.
Accordingly, there will be no elections held at our March Membership meetings as originally planned. According to the Swim Club bylaws, elections are only necessary when there are two or more candidates for any given position.
There are still two open positions: Deck Manager and Open/Close Manager. The incoming President will be able to appoint those positions after he assumes office in April.
A group of volunteers is working on a Picnic at the Pool for March 10th. Stay tuned for more information or call Laurie Black who is chairing this event for the Swim Club.
Repairs on the small pool are progressing. More to come on that in the future.

The small pool and spa are both closed due to an outbreak of black algae. We will keep you posted as we go through the full remediation process over the next few weeks.
As a reminder, the Swim Board meeting is Thursday (2/13) at 9:30am and the Membership Meeting is Monday (2/17) also at 9:30am. Both meetings are held in the Apache Clubhouse.
