Welcome to April!  I want you to be in the know and let you be aware that I am stepping down from the Activities Counselor position. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to serve Betmar and you at coffee hour and through coffee news.  Ohhh, April Fools!!  I couldn’t resist the temptation to get someone fooled.  Did I fool you?  What little joke will you carry out on someone today?

Happy April Fools Day. Just like any other day. Make one another smile and be kind. What’s new in our Library? Books, puzzles, audio books, etc.   Unlike most places, in our Library, you will not be shushed. We encourage talking and laughing and having a fun time. We are always adding to our collections. We are friendly and engaging. We like to get to know our patrons. We accept donations, nothing over 10 years old and in good shape. We appreciate all donations.

Remember, family first and focus on your health.  Toni

Three brothers aged 92, 94 and 96 live in a house together. One night the 96-year-old draws a bath, puts his foot in and pauses. He yells down the stairs, “was I getting in or out of the bath?”

The 94-year-old yells back, “I don’t know. I’ll come up and see.” He starts up the stairs and pauses and then yells “was I going up the stairs or coming down?”

The 92-year-old was sitting at the kitchen table having “I sure hope I never get that forgetful.” He knocks on wood for good luck then yells “I’ll come up and help both of you as soon as I see who’s at the door.”
