Betmar Computer/Tech Club
The purpose of this club is to educate and inform members and guests about the operation and usage of technology for computers, laptops, cell phones, iPads, TV & internet services, gaming and any other equipment and services that may become available.
The Club generally meets every Tuesday, (November – March) from 1 – 3 pm in Clubhouse#2. The first Tuesday of the month is normally a short Board meeting. At 1:00 pm we usually teach a short training/education class which is listed on the clubhouse bulletin board and on the Computer/Tech website on Betmar.org.
Also, each Tuesday at 2 pm club members will help Betmar residents and guests in solving problems they are having with their equipment and services. You do not have to be a member of the Club to access these help sessions. We encourage Betmar residents to be members so you will receive our regular e-mails about upcoming classes, services etc. Membership is only $15 per year.
As a member, you are not expected to attend every session; just attend the classes and sessions you find of interest. You do not have to be a “techie” to be a member, in fact many of our members have a limited amount of knowledge and experience with technology. We always strive to help each other in our efforts to use technology.
Computer Classes are held November through March
